Introduction
Bachelor of Travel and Tour operations Management (BTTM) degree programme, aims at offering insights into the real-world problems and issues confronting the tourism industry and; the travel and tour operations sectors, in particular, at the local, regional and international level. The programme also aims at bringing together academics and practitioners in the travel and tourism industry to exchange ideas in travel management and tour operations in order to facilitate delivery of quality service in the tourism industry. Graduates from the programme will be qualified to undertake careers in both public and private enterprises including travel agencies, tour firms, hotel, national and regional tourism organizations, public institutions such as Ministry of East African Affairs, Commerce and Tourism, transport firms, recreation facilities, and entertainment centers among others.
